Biography

I was born in Syria in the 2nd century, and was put to death cruelly together with Victor, because we admitted to being Christians. Since the 9th century, the relics of Victor and myself have been preserved in Anzù di Feltre, northern Italy. Research has shown that these are the remains of a man and a woman, with some traces of pollen from the Mediterranean, which would confirm the legend that our relics were first in Syria, then in Cyprus, and finally were brought to Anzù di Feltre. Some of our relics are preserved in Aachen and Prague. Several churches are named after us, especially in Tirol and Bavaria.
