Saint Mary Magdalene

I was born in the Holy Land. Since I met Jesus, I became one of His most important followers. I was near Him during His mission and also during His darkest hour. It is said that He cast out seven demons from me. I was present at His crucifixion, up to the last moment when He died. Together with other women, we visited His tomb. I was privileged to see and speak to the risen Lord on Easter morning. I thought He was the gardener until He called my name in a familiar tone. Then, I brought the good news of Jesus’ resurrection to the Apostles.
