Saint Jude Thaddeus

I was born in the Holy Land in the first century AD. I was one of twelve Apostles of Jesus. I began preaching his Gospel to Jewish people throughout Galilee, Samaria and Judea and I invite them to convert to Christianity. I was accompanied by one of the other Apostles called Simon. We were convinced of the importance of following Jesus Christ in our daily lives, and speak about him at every occasion. Around the year 60 AD, I wrote a Gospel letter to recent Christian converts who were persecuted at the time. I encouraged them to keep their faith, despite difficulties. I probably died in Beirut, Lebanon.
